Alcon Centurion

During cataract surgery, Alcon’s Centurion system removes cloudy lenses. Earlier models required high pressure to stabilise the eye, but the latest version operates safely at lower levels. Many surgeons, however, stuck to old ingrained habits. Our campaign warned that this unnecessary pressure could “come back to haunt them,” dramatised by a giant, haunting eye appearing mid-procedure, just when surgeons least wanted distractions.
